Remodel. It's definitely what all the buzz is about these days from tv shows, magazine and online blogs. Remodeling is truly taking what's old and tired and enhancing the function and charm of what's already there.

Having a mutual passion for homes and architecture, Suzie Pace owner and principal of Concepts & Design and Nancy Nerem Black registered architect in Virginia collaborated to transform this dated space into a functional, open design. Finishes that are pleasing to the eye and timeless all while creating spaces that offer the most to the homeowner.

This 1960's Charlottesville ranch lacked open spaces and consistent flow. The charm was hidden behind the dated tile, kitchen counter tops and cabinets.

New cabinets, hardware, hardwood floors, paint, subway tile and lighting transformed the dated kitchen. French doors added where windows once were giving access to charming patio/ courtyard type atmosphere. An additional pantry and laundry area created a much needed space for storage off the kitchen. New appliances and placement to create better flow and over all improved aesthetic.

The Charlottesville area is rich in architecture and opportunity for restoring dated homes to a more inviting sense of style and function. Whether, selling or buying Concepts and Design, a division of Pace Real Estate can add value to your sale or purchase.
